About Behavior Genius

At Behavior Genius, we are not just providing services — we are building a community-forward, social-emotional learning center where science meets the real-world needs of families and communities. We blend innovation with excellence, compassion with clinical precision, and strategy with soul. We are calling all builders: those ready to elevate what behavioral healthcare can truly be.

About the Role

The Program Director is a licensed clinical leader responsible for building, implementing, and stewarding the fidelity of our program designs — ensuring that each program not only meets clinical excellence but also reflects our deep commitment to family connection, cultural responsiveness, and real-world outcomes.

The Program Director also holds ownership over program performance metrics to drive success, accountability, and impact at every level.

This is a leadership role for a builder: someone who can turn vision into action and deliver measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Program Development: Build, refine, and implement clinical strategies across all program models (e.g., social-emotional learning, skill development, community engagement, early intervention).
  • Fidelity Oversight: Ensure programs are delivered with consistency, excellence, and adherence to their original design. Conduct regular fidelity audits and guide corrective actions.
  • Clinical Excellence: Set and maintain high standards for intervention quality, client outcomes, and family-centered care across programs.
  • Program Metrics Management: Monitor and report on program performance metrics, including:
    • Client goal attainment rates
    • Contractual service fulfillment (e.g., authorized vs. delivered hours)
    • Parent collaboration participation and satisfaction
    • Coordination of care efforts with external providers and schools

  • Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and collaborate with Case Managers, Behavior Support Technicians (RBT’s), and Learning Support Specialists to ensure alignment with program expectations and best practices.
  • Family Connection: Champion strong family partnerships by establishing clear expectations for communication, collaboration, and shared goal-setting.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Analyze program outcomes, feedback, and data to drive strategic improvements and innovations.
  • Compliance: Ensure all clinical services meet ethical, legal, and funding-source requirements.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • A builder — you thrive on turning vision into action and helping others succeed.
  • A strategic leader — you can hold the big picture while staying attentive to critical clinical details.
  • A connector — you understand that families are essential partners in every success story.
  • A steward — you balance program quality, family engagement, and organizational accountability with care and excellence.

Qualifications

  • Required License: Active BCBA, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologist credential — in good standing.
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience with individuals with autism and related needs.
  • Minimum 1 year experience designing, leading, or managing behavioral or educational programs.
  • Strong background in social-emotional learning, skill acquisition, or community-based interventions.
  • Experience monitoring program outcomes, goal attainment, and contract fulfillment preferred.
  • Previous leadership and staff development experience required.
  • Commitment to culturally responsive, family-centered practices.
  • CPR/First Aid Certification (or willing to obtain).
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to work in person at Behavior Genius locations and in the community.

What We Offer

  • A leadership role in a mission-driven, future-focused organization.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.
  • Ongoing professional development and mentorship opportunities.
  • A chance to build, lead, and innovate — not just maintain the status quo.
