Associate Clinical Director [REMOTE]
Position Overview:
The Associate Clinical Director supports the Clinical Director in overseeing the delivery of high-quality clinical services. This role ensures that clinical staff adhere to best practices, regulatory guidelines, and organizational standards. The Associate Clinical Director will provide clinical supervision, support program development, and help maintain efficient and ethical service delivery across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership & Supervision:
Provide clinical supervision and guidance to licensed and unlicensed staff (e.g., therapists, counselors, case managers).
Ensure adherence to ethical standards, licensing requirements, and clinical protocols.
Review and monitor clinical documentation for quality and compliance.
Maintain and monitor the Clinical Operations Tracker on a weekly basis by synthesizing monthly data on client goal progress, with a focus on creating solutions to variability in skill acquisition, behavior reduction, staff involvement, and family consistency.
Coordinate weekly or bi-weekly check-ins with assigned Mid-Tiers and BCBAs to ensure alignment with organization-wide clinical priorities.
Track and report on billable hour metrics company-wide in partnership with leadership and billing.
Schedule and conduct pre-offer clinical interviews with prospective BCBAs.
Assign and monitor Vineland assessments in Q-global to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
Maintain the Clinical Caseload Dashboard.
Introduce families to the Behavior Genius team and assign BCBAs to specific clients based on client needs.
Conduct parent and team training workshops throughout the year.
Caseload Management: Maintain a 50% direct/indirect caseload of 80 hours/month, covering remote direct BCBA hours as needed in assigned region.
Program Fidelity: Ensure adherence to clinical processes, compliance standards, and productivity expectations.
Collaboration & Communication: Partner with the Director of Clinical Quality to align operations with clinical outcomes.
Reporting & Metrics: Track and report on key departmental metrics each month, identifying trends, troubleshooting challenges, and implementing solutions to ensure goals are met.
Program Development & Oversight:
Assist in the design, implementation, and evaluation of clinical programs and services.
Support outcome tracking, quality improvement initiatives, and client satisfaction efforts.
Collaborate with the Clinical Director on strategic planning and program growth.
Administrative Support:
Participate in staff hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
Monitor caseloads, productivity, and resource allocation.
Assist with audits, accreditation processes, and compliance with federal/state regulations.
Client Care & Risk Management:
Provide direct clinical services as needed, including assessments and crisis intervention.
Support risk management efforts, including incident review and clinical escalation procedures.
Serve as a resource for complex clinical cases and high-risk client situations.
Collaboration & Communication:
Foster interdisciplinary collaboration across departments (e.g., medical, case management, administrative).
Participate in internal meetings, committees, and trainings.
Serve as a liaison with external agencies, referral sources, and community partners as needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
Master’s or in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Behavioral health or a related field.
BCBA or BCBA-D
2+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role/clinical experience.
Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices and clinical documentation standards.
Preferred:
Experience in a similar organizational setting (e.g., community mental health, hospital, or residential treatment).
Bilingual or multilingual skills.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and quality improvement frameworks.
